Abstract
Meaning of marketing: “selling and buying of goods and services in exchange.” Marketing refers to the activities of a company associated with buying, advertising, distributing or selling a product or service. It is the process of getting people interested in your company's product or service. It is the science and art of exploring, creating, and delivering value to satisfy the needs of a target market at a profit. Philip Kotler defines marketing as “human activity directed at satisfying needs and wants through exchange processes.” It is the performance of business activities that direct the flow of goods and services from producer to consumers.
