Abstract
Concept of control: Controlling is the management functions of planning, staffing, organizing, implementing and directing. Control is the process of checking, testing, regulation, verification, or adjustment to ensure that the organization’s mission and objectives are accomplished as effectively and efficiently as possible. Control in management means setting standards, measuring actual performance and taking corrective action. It is the process of comparing actual performance with standards, identifying and analyzing deviations and taking corrective actions to meet the standards. Control keeps the subordinates under check and brings discipline among them. It helps to check the errors and take corrective action to meet the standards.
