Abstract
Aggregate planning refers to the process of developing, maintaining, and analyzing the approximate scope of the operations of a company. It is concerned with matching supply and demand of output over the medium time range, up to approximately 12 months into the future. It helps to achieve balance between operation goal, financial goal and overall strategic objective of the organization. It is the process of analyzing and forecasting the demand for an organization's goods or services and its capacity to fulfill it. It's main objective is to give the company's management an idea regarding the resources it needs to cover the demand in an efficient way.
