Abstract

Communication is one of the key aspects for the smooth functioning of professionally operated kitchens. It may exist both in verbal and non-verbal forms. The job role of kitchen staff demands perfection and a very effective communication process, in the absence of which, kitchen operations can become disorganized and eventually lead to guest complains and low morale of the staff.
