Abstract
Food commodities are agricultural goods, either raw or processed, that are: meant for human consumption and also are exchanged on financial markets. Due to their wide demand base and perishable nature, food commodities are not like other commodities. They are employed in everything from industrial processes and biofuel production to human consumption and animal feed.
