Kitchen-An Introduction
Abstract
A commercial kitchen is any kitchen where the primary purpose is to prepare food for patrons, such as: restaurant, hotel, bar, or other hospitality-related business. The term "commercial" indicates that the purpose of these kitchens is not to prepare and consume food for oneself or others, but rather to prepare food for sale. Commercial kitchens are designed to: accommodate lots of orders, lots of turnover, and a variety of foods at different stages of preparation.
