Abstract
The art of presenting food on a plate that enhances visual appeal is commonly known as plated presentation. Presentation is an art and science that combine color, flavor, taste and texture that enhance the appetite and motivates the desire to taste food. The art of plate presentation has been mastered by chefs in such a way that on being shown a photograph of a dish on a plate, people can correctly associate with the chef responsible for the presentation. Food preparation is very much a science, food presentation is an art.
