Abstract
“HRM is concerned with people at work” It refers to philosophy, policies, procedures and practices concerned with management of employees in the organization. It’s a process of acquisition, development, utilization and maintenance of resources in the orgn for long period. It is involved in pre-recruitment to post retirement. “R-to-R” HRM is essential for maximizing productivity, minimizing wastage, gaining competitive advantage, maintaining quality of product and services.
