Abstract
ILO estimates more than 2.3 million fatalities every year due to occupational accidents and work-related diseases. It is also estimated that over 337 million workers sustain injuries. Over 160 million cases of work-related diseases. Many accidents at work go unreported and most occupational diseases go undiagnosed. It is estimated to cost countries 4% of GDP.
