Abstract
The Department that is responsible for producing food is referred to as the Food Production Department or Kitchen. The banquet kitchen, soup, pantry, pastry, baking, and confectionery departments are all part of the food production department. Food production department is an operational department of hotel that is located in back of the house. This department is responsible to preparing, processing, cooking and serving varieties of food items. Different cuisines are prepared and served in specific area.
