Abstract
Nepal is located in South Asia lying along the lap of the central Great Himalayan Range. It is a landlocked country, 544 km straight away from the Bay of Bengal of the Indian Ocean. The nearest distance to the Bangladesh border is only 27 km from Nepal. One has to cross Radhikapur of India to reach Bangladesh by land. It has altitude ranges minimum of 60 m at Kechanakal (Jhapa) to 8848m at Mount Everest. Nepal is a landlocked country like Bhutan and Afghanistan of the SAARC region. Nepal lies between 26°22' north to 30°27' north latitude and 80°4' east to 88° 12' east longitude.
